I enjoy planning trips for couples and families that want the freedom of independent adventures and unique experiences. I worked for a travel company so I know how trips are assembled and marketed for the general public. I also know the mark-ups that travel companies and agents impose to make a profit. I do not do that. I don't work on commission or get no kick-backs from hotels or airlines. I am your agent.

Most of my winter trips are to the warmer locales.  I like to travel during the shoulder season to keep the costs down.  Weather research is essential because it is unpredictable. I do a lot of research on historical trends to make the best choice for the date to travel.

I have had some adventurous times diving with manta rays, swimming with sharks and wild dolphins, zip-lining and, of course, bungee jumping! I am not big on highking but I just had to do the famous Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand (below). I also enjoy spending quality time relaxing on the beach in between water activities.

I love nature vistas and city views.  I also make a point to visit local museums to see both fine and contemporary art. Local art provides a great window into the regional culture.  I am addicted to visiting temples and churches.  I love their architecture, artwork, the sense of history and connection to everyday people.
